Whoohoo, i finally broke the Xray!

Where do you order from, and are there more places like it that sell parts for other brands?

i ordered from www.rc-mushroom.com the parts are very cheap but the shipping kills ya. also www.the-border.nl iirc stocks xray parts but they are almost 2x as much since its in europe instead of hong kong.

for example an XB8 machined chassis: the border is 80 euros vs. mushroom 61 USD. quite a difference, especially considering the exchange rate on the euro lately.

or, you could call www.rcpit.net ,tomorrow they'll have all the X-Ray XB8 parts local in the U.S.......

I want to brake mine!
Whats the update on its arrival?

Dang Ed you still waiting for your buggy from Hirez? I thought you bought that at the begining of October. I am glad I waited now. I had the money and almost bought one but I am glad I made the responsable decision. It took a month huh? Wow!

I'm sure its on the way but still don't have a firm delivery date.
I knew going into it that it would take some time to get.
As everyone here knows I don't have any issues helping a new business out.
From what I gather they sat in customs for a long time to be cleared. This day and age thats almost good news. Homeland Security must have needed some R&R and found RCs to be the answer. :p:

Eddy what country did the x-ray's come from? Certain countrys get looked at more then others, and exam levels vary from container to container.

the us shipment was direct from manufacture. the problems lies in they screwed up the paperwork and spent over a month trying to correct it. dont worry guys, ill be buying all my parts in the states from now on. I'm just more impuslive than some of the guys on here and had to have it when i saw it on ebay, i spent 3 hours that night searching for one in the states and even called hobby shops the next day to see if they had them in stock. when i found that nobody had them, i bought it online. glad to hear than our shipment has been released now, and ill have more "brethren" at the tracks.

i have seen the x ray in action and its awsome...it looks very stable and easy to drive....i looks as though wherever it is on the track it just plain out hooks up....i talked to the owner and he said just buying the buggy it made him faster and more consistant...made me want one bad.....

i just dont like the price right now....they are in stock
