Fluid filmWhat is your favorite "rust-no-mo'" product you used?
When I was young, there was a guy that came to the lake I frequented with a speed boat with a supercharged 454 in it. All polished up, shiny chrome open headers aiming towards the sky. Had 3 hot ladies in bikinis with him. He gets out on the water and about 200 people at the beach are all paying attention because it was louder than a Pro Street drag car. He makes a couple passes back and forth at ludicrous speeds, then hits one of the huge waves made by his boat,. The nose points towards the sky as he launches into the air about 20 feet (probably more) before coming down and the entire boat goes ass end, fully submerged into the water. A second later it comes flying back out like a milk jug and lands upright. Funniest boating thing ever. Ruined his engine though.I love the free entertainment at the boat ramps![]()
I get the cans by the case. Reminds me I need to re-up and get another.Fluid film
When I was in my teens to late 20's I was really into hydroplane boats because we had races nearby. I almost bought one for a good price........then realized that was just to start lol extra motors and parts......transportation....you know...racing....happy I didn't ever get it lol. Then I had a neighbor that had bought a larger race boat. A Douglas Skater. He raced a few 40'+ offshore boats. The cat was new to him....we got it going and took it down to the lake. Did 103mph. I've gone faster on a street bike but that boat was the most insane ride I've ever been on. He worked steering and throttle I worked the trim. Sick ride. Same, I’ve done some crazy speeds on 2 and 4 wheels. When I was in my teens to late 20's I was really into hydroplane boats because we had races nearby. New skaters are running even faster then his race boat.

Getting ready for my sons bday party at the LHS track. Wrenched on 4 Slashes. 2 haven’t been driven in over +6 years and hardly used (thanks bro in law and nephew), and replaced or swapped what what’s needed and upgraded. There is some what of an unhealthy habit in our stable of having 9 Traxxas 2wd platforms and what seems like a lifetime supply of spare parts around.

I bet there's a forum or site that you can find mods and maybe buy the parts from too.And inside of a fully passive power/watt meter from the 70s.

Opening electronics to see what they look like
Inside of a cheap amplifier I got for 45 bucks.
Trying to think if there's a if and how on if I can add one or a couple of bigger capacitors on the board to make more current flow to the speakers so the amp doesn't have to work that hard.

How much different in weight is the axle over stock?Dropped an aluminum front portal avle in my HobbyPlus CR18P Juice up today. It's a replacement for the original plastic one that I broke. I also added metal drive shafts while I had it taken apart.

Put new drive shafts in my Deadbolt bodied Furitek Cayman also. Unfortunately, they were just plastic replacements. I can't seem to find metal replacements that fit the original Cayman.
I'm not sure but it felt really close to the same. How much different in weight is the axle over stock?
