Wow. You realy are back at it. I haven't touched an RC for months, other than to push them out of my way. I have 2 servo repairs waiting on a wrench.
Yeah, I'm glad I'm getting interested again.
I drove my new green Toyota up and down the hall and set up a few obstacles today.

This afternoon i cleaned up both my B74.1 and my dad's YZ2 CAL 3 for tomorrow's trip to our local track at 405 RC. Also checked a few things on them to make sure they'll perform well at the track. This also be my very first track day with my iXSR+ and we'll be taking my Imars D300 to the track as well since i bought some XT60 to race battery charge leads last year.

Hope you and your Dad have a good time. :)

Thanks so much for the kind reply, This might be our last or 2nd to last time we'll get to run at 405 since my step mom just got a new job in Tucson AZ and we'll be moving there once we sell our current house and buy a new house there. I've started looking around at RC tracks and i found one in Tucson called D&D RC and it looks amazing but it's dirt and not carpet like 405 is.

Once you get settled in Arizona, if you try the dirt track in Tucson and like it, I would think the weather there should be pretty stable, for track conditions to be fairly consistent.

Good point, There was also a indoor clay offroad track in Chandler but it might be too far out from where we're going to live. But the one i found in Tucson is an outdoor offroad track. The cool thing is i could race my Slash 4x4 Ultimate on them and i also plan to at some point build myself a new 4wd buggy and since TLR just announced their 22X-4 2.0 platforms i'm hooked on maybe getting one.

Lots of new opportunities and options to explore. It will be exciting once you get settled. :thumbs-up:

First thing i want to do is buy my new X-Maxx Ultimate once i have enough funds and we get moved into our new house. After that i plan to start looking into buying and building a new race buggy and the track in Tucson i mentioned also has plans to build an 1\8 track on their property someday so i might be able to look into an 1\8 buggy or truggy in the future.

I used to live in Tucson when I was a kid, and we spent hours in the Santa Fe ditch riding our bikes.
The very reason I mentioned landing in cactus a time or two in another thread.

good luck, is there a link to watch? id love to watch a live stream

Still waiting on the driver's meeting

You aren't lying there my man. I have a group of them rotten azzholezzes coming up next month.

working on the po scale light kit. It’s like the pro scale kit from Traxxas, but for poor people 😎.

Just gotta get the rear hooked up
PO Scale kit looks more accurate anyway.

Worked on my brothers TRX4 Sport just now. The Traxxas XL5HV ESC had died so we decided to convert to brushless. I fitted a HW Quicrun Fusion SE 2in1 system. Installation was simple and straightforward and looks a lot neater without the separate ESC.

I had also ordered a 45kg servo just in case and it's a good thing I did, as when I was testing the old 1812MG 18kg servo, it was browning out big time.
The 45kg is a great upgrade. Noticeably stronger.
