The nitro Rustler is now running! I modded E-Rustler driveshafts to fit and it starts right up with VP Racing 20% nitro, 9% oil fuel. It still needs a good cleaning though.

Finished up the trx4 for the crawl competition the 20th. Spent a day converting over from a trail truck. Also swaped out the 3s to a 2s per the rules and narrowed the stance.

Looks badass man!

I did some work on my widemaxx xmaxx. Wfo titanium axles, hopefully they hold up. They do look nice.

Yeah, there are more curds to be weighed here. I think I want a Wrangler as well, but I would prefer a Bleu one with some Meunster tires on it. As long as they Feta under the wheel rounds that is. Nothing would be grater to shred rock piles with 😜
This page aged well.

4 zip ties on top of the cooling head will protect it from rash. Theoretically, it will also slid on the plastic instead of grabbing concrete with weight on it.

Another old school trick is to put the reciever in a ballon. No dirt and fuel or oil splashes.

Lastly, the front body mount is upside down. I'm only saying this if you get a body that needs a taller or shorter mount. You can also put stampede front and rear body mounts as they bolt right up, and are adjustable. 🖒

The car is looking great. Just out of curiosity, is it a blue or tan chassis?

It was my uncle's and he abused his RCs, so I'm in the process of fixing it. Thanks for the heads up! It has a tan chassis. I just put in two new servos and a new 2.4ghz receiver to connect to my Radiolink RC6GS V2. I'll try to find a body for it ASAP.

Cold in the workshop today but did get some wrenching done. Test fit the P-L Low Profile Street Fighter's to the Rustler. Bought for the MT10, P-L specs 'em for the rustler too. Fit a pair of AL 12mm hexes to the RR. They've been in the basher box for the longest crying for a home. Then threaded a new set of RPM 4mm nylon nuts for the FR wheels. By then I had cold feet. Literally, not figuratively. Called it a day.

Wackum and stackum bro.
The hunt just got nixed - my bud forgot he had grandkid obligations until he mentioned to his wife our plans. No biggie, we will get there, probably this coming week if I can clear my work platter for a day.

Took the springs off. Much better. Trying out my new Venom crawl batteries as well. Might go hit the track in a little bit and get some cool pictures. Still waiting for my Losi...View attachment 142559
For these SXC24, springless is the way to go, if you want max crawl performance. 4 out of 5 of my SCX24s are running springless. The C10 is the only one still running springs.
Slimer is looking good, Man!
