I am doing a new build on a rig and it is going to have a DNA Dig so motor will be reversed.

(Ok Charlie, time to hear from you on this one)

East End has a new skid out that has Single Reverse Triangulation, where before they had one that was a Double Reverse Triangulation.

You can take a look at it here.

Which in your eyes would be the best to use on my new build (remeember I am new to crawling) :)

Would like to hear from a few out there and what they might think, or use.

i am running dig with the dual triangulated skid from eem but i had to change my rear lowers too some customs ones....

What was the reason for you having go change them?

I have the stock bent in the rear and straight on the front. Stock ARTR setup right now.

i'll pm you with what I'm using

I am using their double and it has been working perfectly for me.

I moved the lower mounting points until I found positions that worked well.

That was right after the build.

It is now covered in rock rash.

The tape you see on the upper link on the left is holding down the 3S lipo. Shelf queens don't need batts installed.

I use a double-tri skid plate with a reversed tranny (using a Hot Racing dig) and straight Delrin lower links and it glides over the rocks. I think the double tri plate s best for configs where the tranny is reversed, as the single tri setup doesn't account for that and essentially has the lower triangulation on the wrong end I think, unless Charlie and Joe thought of that, I dunno. It doesn't matter which way you mount the double tri plate though, it's 100% reversible :)

Charlie will be the first to tell you that EEM don't sell anything they don't test extensively, and it really shows. My Axial was a different rig after I swapped the skid over from the stock one.

Jeff,
I would use the double skid robmob posted. It will make for very stable axles & is a good set-up to learn on.

Velcro my friend :D

The only thing I use velco for in RC is my AMB transponders.

I use the same setup I use to stick my lipo pack in my on-road racers.

Double stick stuff that would stick a booger to an ice cube and as insurance I add the battery tape.
