Recently got them and put them on, its seems like the design actually hindered performance rather than helped it. Especially in the back.. feels like they should have put the skid facing the tranny and angled up towards the center skid.

1st pic: front skid, caught alot of dirt in between the skid and diff.

2nd Pic square side is on the inside towards tranny. Just hanging down a little more and squared off= hitting more things. (At least for me)

Just wondering what others thought.

Bummer!

Some "upgrades" end up just being a test or part of your journey. You'll start to see where they're a benefit and where maybe something takes away from performance.

On this chassis:

The bottom isn't flat, the transmission hangs down. It benefits tremendously from a center skid to flatten out.

The TRX4-M is already designed to have a flat skid and various other contact points. Adding that is more about RC jewelry 😘 🙂 😜

Take em off and get yourself some sweet diff covers 😎
