i am looking for a fm radio. so far i have found the jr xr3i, futaba 3pm, and the airtronics mx-3s. which one do you guys reccomend the most. i will be running this with a t-maxx.these all seem to be around the best average computerized radio systems that arent synthesized. i do like the jr tho cuz it comes with a metal gear torq servo and a regular and then the airtronics comes with one but i can deal with either. i just want the best of these so give me your choices and opinions!!

thanks,
tyler

well nvm about not being synthesized cuz i now see that the mx-3s is synthesized. i guess the cheap price threw me off but i still will definately take it if it is a good radio.opinions still needed!

thanks,
tyler

I have the mx-3 regular. It's a pretty good radio with some features I don't know how to use. I guess it all depends on what your looking for as to what's better.

I think if I had it to do over, I might find something that fit my body a little better. After about an hours time of bashing the savage or buggy, I get a nasty pinch right between my shoulder blades. I used to get the same thing at work (database analyst) until I got an ergonomic keyboard that lets me type with my arms in a more natural position.

Although, the only radio I know that has any angle to it for ergonomic design is the Nomadio Sensor system, but it's PRICEY!

Anyway, the MX-3 has a lot of nice features that most other computerized systems have and I did notice less glitching with it as compaired to my JR XR2 and my traxxas tq3 radios, both AM.

i prefer the 3pm myself, but all 3 of your choices are good with similar features. so just pick the one you get the best deal on. also there is someone in the classifieds selling a jr syth radio with 2 receivers for 125ish.

well i need the servos also. thats what i like about the jr xr3i i guess it comes with those servos and one is metal geared. if they all have mostly the same features...i guess i will try to find a good deal on the jr.

thanks,
tyler

The 590 it comes with is only an OK servo. You can pick one of those up on ebay for CHEAP. I have the Xr3i, it is a nice radio though.

I have the MX3-S and it came with synth Rx and 2 AT servos, paid 180.00 for it all. Synth is better if you race or live in a more urban area where signals can drift.
