I'm still rockin an iPhone 3gs but I'm ready for something better. I'm thinking about an android but I don't keep up with this stuff so I'm clueless. I don't use many apps but I want something that is faster on line. My current phone sucks for on line use, even on wi fi it's slow as hell. I'm not spending a fortune ($100.00 or less w/contract) don't want it much bigger than an iPhone.......Whats your suggestion?

iPhone 5

If you want to carry a piece of lead around in your pocket then get one of the various Droid devices. Good luck choosing one.

HTC or Samsung imo. I have the HTC vivid and wouldnt trade it for any other phone. Some of the top Samsungs are insanely bad ass though.

I've got a Samsung Galaxy SII and have s contract up for renewal. For that one, I'm seriously looking at the SIII. No real problems with the Samsung phones. Wish I could say that about my HTC Hero.

Android phones are nice, but not for me. Here's why.

The OS feels messy and complicated. That's about it, and it's enough of a reason for me. I like the simplicity of iPhones. It's what others call restrictive, but it makes it easy to use.

Looks like ill be checking out the Galaxy SIII and the iPhone 5, both are more than I want to spend but I'm sick of having a crappy phone!

Check around, you can get phones cheaper at Sam's if you have a membership, I saved $50 vs the AT&T store. Walmart just had the Galaxy S3 for $129 w/ $100 mail in rebate, it ended earlier this month.

I love my S3

+1

My company no longer pays for my phone and transferred the plan to me, but I was able to keep the device. When I went in to add my wife to the sprint plan (unlimited data is a must for me, hooked on netflix...), they informed me I was due for an upgrade, I had the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and was able to upgrade to the SII for nothing or the SIII for $99. Since I was also adding my wife to the plan, we were able to get hers for $99. Traded in my nexus for $90, her old HTC desire for $12 and ended up paying $104 out the door.

So far, the S3 is a great phone. Far better reception than the nexus and much smoother screen transitions. My wife is just happy having a phone that's got a bigger screen than the desire... which was a hair larger than the iphone.

Two things I miss from the nexus were the touch home button and recent apps button, the S3 has a actual button and you have to hold it for recent apps... but that is all I miss.

I went to Walmart and picked up 2 iPhone 5 for $129.00 each, not bad!

I like the simplicity of iPhones.

This was a big part of my decision! I really hate dealing with iTunes but I'm comfortable with the iPhone.

i got the Galaxy SIII for x-mas and i can't put it down, i love this phone !!!!

All I know is this iphone 5 is A LOT faster than my old 3Gs, that was the main reason for getting a new phone.....Happy Happy Happy

I took my 5 back and got the S3 but only because it had crappy reception and not very good battery life.

AT&T is the way to go, i pay $80 a month for unlimited calling and texting and 1G of data, And the phone i have is the Samsung galaxy exhilarate. Not the best phone out there but i would say it's faster then the Iphone 4, plus the screens a bit bigger.
