Where to mount?

Hey everyone, I finished cleaning up my ZX-5 for new parts, and I was wondering where I should mount the electronics.

This is the main chassis. I can mount it where part of the velcro is and where the middle brace is.

These are what I need to mount:

The orange little box is the receiver and the other one is obviously the ESC.


Anyways, for some of you that are wondering. I can't fit both items onto the velcro, so I'm not sure which thing to mount onto the brace and which onto the velcro.

I would put the ESC on the velcro and the receiver on the brace. Kinda like the RC18 series mounting configuration.

Awesome. That's exactly what I did. I also moved the antenna mount so that it comes out higher. Can't wait for my other parts to come in.

you always want the heaviest parts as low on the chassis as possible for better handle, this would be of course the esc in your case

Oh okay. Do both sides have to be balanced? If they aren't, how can I make one side heavier?
