Does anyone know where I can get these parts for my Traxxas Jato?

I hear the shock towers on the Traxxas Jato BL2s are broken easily and need aluminum ones. Is it the front and back shock towers or just the front? I also heard that the diff housing needs replaced with aluminum as well? Is this true?

Could anyone please send me the part numbers for these I have had no luck finding them anywhere!
Thank you for your time!

You won’t need shock towers unless you really send it. Don’t buy an upgrade till it breaks
I agree. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." my mom tells me. just get the aluminum shock caps for all 4 corners. they have a tendency to fly off. Ask me how I know. 😝

No, unfortunately they won't. Those are for the plastic ultra shocks that come on models like the bandit, stampede, slash, etc. you need the aluminum shock caps for the GTR shocks that come on these.
I also forgot to add the aluminum Diff Housing upgrade.
Edit: the aluminum shock tower brace is to help prevent it from breaking. you can get the Front Shock Tower Brace and also what @Chubaka said you also Candy get the front and rear Heavy duty shock towers. Hope this helps!

You keep saying: 'I read'...

Where, exactly are you reading this stuff?

I ask because I have owned more than a few Traxxas 1/10 4WD models and while I have broken a few things I haven't ever broken a shock tower (the Jato 4x4 BL-2s comes with the HD towers) or a bulk-head (diff cover).

Don't waste your time or money on either one.

In my opinion, the best upgrades you can do are a center diff (TRX6780 or 6780A) instead of the slipper clutch assembly, and better shocks (either rebuild the factory shocks with aluminum bodies/caps or just replace them).

^ exactly. What are your sources for these parts being weak? I don’t even think you’ll need the Ali shock caps because the Jato comes with GTR shocks

The overview AI says one of the weak points is the plastic shock towers. But I don't really trust AI.

I can't remember where I read the shock towers and diff housing were weak. I was looking for it and can't find it. I guess I will just wait for something to break and then replace it. Thanks for all the links to everything!

The problem with aluminum shock towers is they don't flex, so if you hit something hard enough to bend the plastic towers, the aluminum will also bend, but the plastic tower will flex back, while the aluminum will stay bent. It would take a very hard hit to break the HD towers on the Jato 4x4.
