wheel painting?

i've never heard anything about it, but can you paint the wheels for your rc? i have some stock savage rims and i'd like them to be black, could i do it?

You would be better off stripping the chrome off then dying them. Paint will scratch and chip off, dye wont.

Its clothing dye.

Works pretty good I have dyed one pair so far......if you know ahead of time you can buy dyeable white rims....they turn out much better.

RPM says you can dye their chromed wheels as well, which gives you a really cool chromed/anodized effect with the color.

Go to the faq section on their page, click "How do I dye....", the second to last line has a link to pictures of dyed chrome parts.
