We have some spread out painting topics around and I figured we could do it all over again right here.
Airbrush, hand brush, or rattle can, go ahead and post it.
Save the finger painting for another time.

Another project on the table. A Datsun 620.
Started with a Datsun Blue as the base. Some of these trucks came in a color like this but they called it sky blue.
Added a patina blotch here n there. Sanded it down after another coat of blue. This was an after thought, so it isn’t perfect. Clear coated it and prepared the hood for a touch-up on the rising sun thing it has going. All of my masking is done with bitty design liquid mask. I brushed it onto this 1/25 scale model.

A little sanding after a top coat of blue and you get some rust (or mud).

Time to pretty up the hood.

Looks killer ma! I have a soft spot for old Rotsun’s.. Would still love to have a 69-70 510 2dr, and cram in an SR20DET..

I didn’t know how it was going to turn out, and I’m not disappointed either.
