Well i've been thinkin real hard and i decided i want to get a crawler.

So i want some opinions,
Whats a good starter rig?

Berg or ARTR AX-10, Berg base rig will cost more but IMO a Berg is hard to beat. Don't buy the AX-10 RTR it is a waste of your time.

Alright so the RTR is out.
whats so bad about that?
I was checking around and i seen some artr AX-10's that aren't really that much.

For the AX-10 the ARTR is the best bang for your buck. You might look around at some used stuff. You can get some really good deals on complete rigs with electronics & hop-ups.

Alright, then that is what I'm going to look into. thanks guys.

i agree. the artr Axial is a good unit. as is the Kit unit. both could use a bit of TLC to make them very good performing units. but imo, the kit is just dandy and can be had for 199.99 from ckrccrawlers.com.

I started with the kit & I wish they would of had the ARTR then. I spent way more than the $30.00 difference to get the hop-ups the ARTR comes with. Plus the orange anodizing is way easier on the eyes than the green.IMO,The bodies WAY cooler too!

Yeah, i was justlooking at it, and i really like the artr and the Orange color in it.

I just got my artr and I love it and I dont even have the electrics in it yet lol.

Wait till you get to drive it! It's a new love affair that doesn't fade away!! A couple of us here at my track, who used to drive our truggies at least three times a week are driving our crawlers daily & the truggies maybe once a week! NO KIDDING!! Saves on nitro tho!! LOL!!
