Thought something was wrong with my printer. Accidentally had "fuzzy skin" option selected in my slicer :p

I think I heard around $350 depending on electronics.
No way, more like $150 if you shop around. You don’t need anything fancy. Most waterproof motors are cheap surpass or hobbystar. Hobbywing is pricey even for me.
AliExpress has my entire shopping list for under $150.

$34 USD for the boat files and maybe another $150 more or less for all the hardware and electronics. I am shopping on a super cheap budget to keep this thing affordable. With the boat files, filament, and the necessities to build it we’re looking at an entry level Proboat price. These things look amazing though, and the tune ability is unlimited with motor choice, jet sizes, fin sizes. You name it, it’s completely customizable.

I have not started one but, I will! I can start one to at least show some photos of the hull.
It’s about an 18” boat like my recoil18, just much wider.
I will track prices to keep it relative to our 3d printer guys!

I wanted to push my printer a little bit so I did a bunch of space ships and this panning pan for our next hiking trip. Still impressed with this elegoo N4P. Once I get my calibration dialed it just rips print after print, only needing some cleaning of the nozzle between prints.

Currently printing nothing. Sold my Creality CR-10 Smart Pro on Marketplace for a crazy price. Now I'm eagerly awaiting my new Elegoo Centauri Carbon to arrive and my backlog of projects is growing and growing!

Cool so you bought it. Interested to hear your experience.

Printed a replacement mount for my Hyperflow fans. The stock one was PETG and I melted it after some long runs 😀

This new version is PAHT-CF which won't be melting from an electric motor 😀

Thanks to Dillon at Hyperflow for allowing me to print his file this one time!

Oh also printing a modified Mario with game controller stands instead of hands 😀 Will hold Switch Pro or Xbox controllers.

Yes I know this Mario has no eyes yet, they're being installed with his mustache and hat tonight!

Not bad for a 14 minute Benchy!

Currently printing the poop catcher file which comes preloaded on the machine. You print it and attach it to the rear of the machine to act as a trash can for the printer poop it shoots out the back when clearing the nozzle.

Damn right. That is fast. Especially considering how good it looks. Was that the fastest it can print?

500mm/s. It has a "Ludicrous Speed" default setting you can run. I haven't even messed with that yet lol

I have the Bambu slicer installed to help majin out. I was comparing print times awhile back with my Creality printers and it was crazy how much faster the new printers are. I gotta get one soon, but I hate the fact that I would be losing print volume.
