Petg prints fine on my textured plate. Use it more than pla.
Depends on the build plate. PEI finishes are bad, and a lot of build plates use it, or at least a lot of them used to use that. I print everything on glass, no problems.

I wish Bambu had some glass plates available
It is much better than the textured plates in my opinion. There is nothing that says you can't clamp a mirror or glass on your bed. You just need to reset your Z axis zero I believe. I don't have a Bambu, so not sure how Z is setup. But I can't imagine it can't be done.

I’m sure it can be done.
I use a smooth pei plate.

anyone got a good ball cup wrench STL? i found dead links to them but couldn't find anything that was still alive.

Hey guys, been a WHILE.. had to pause life for about 18 months while I got divorced.. heres the most recent thing I have designed /printed for R/C.. sprint body for the losi micro B including F+R towers. Body clips into place using the bevels along the side of the buggy chassis and the towers for a really solid mount.

Here's a couple of prints we just completed and sold. Mickey is 16" tall so it's a sizable build. The head is one print from the X1 Carbon using AMS (no assemble required for the different colors)!

The wife is printing up a freaking mess.
Somehow covered the entire nozzle
It's got plastic molded to the entire bottom
My only day off and instead of doing fun stuff I get to clean her mess......
Good times
To be crystal clear it was an accident and not her "fault" she just happened to be the one using it.

Heat the hot end up and let it sit for about 10 minutes at temp, and hopefully it will pull right off there. Happens sometimes when you lose bed adhesion on your print.

its globbed up around the backside of it, made a sort of plug cap around the wires. having to slowly cut it free from the super small wires

They make silicone boots to cover the hotend on some printers. It helps stop incidents like that from being so painful.
