Those are amazing @slw2206 Were they multi color prints or did you print them in pieces?
@majin , those hangers are cool, I like how you labeled them! These things are designed to run non-stop, let er rip!

We have been on a Dummy 13 kick here, the kids want me to print one the size of a baby... so, about 20" tall or so? The teacher at their school asked me to print some Minecraft chess sets so I'm on that today.
I got 4 rolls delivered this morning. Some brown for the minecraft stuff, a tri-color green orange and something in between, some transparent for the kei headlight lenses, and a black petg for general purposes.
Let the printing begin.

lordt no i wish, i just added letters to the files lol
Well my concern is those arms are all part of that print right? I mean they aren't 3 separate parts. Just be careful the layers don't separate and dump your RC on the ground.

That and you're putting all that weight on 2 tires. They will develop flat spots. I would prefer to hang them by the axles or A-arms. If I would have known earlier, I would have designed you some.

More Optic body panels! Because I wasn't satisfied destroying every part of a custom painted body kit in one outing!

Using a different PLA+ filament this time. If I decide to put any paint on it, I'll stay with my water-based paints vs lacquers (in case it was the lacquer that caused the last panels to be so brittle).

Considering using my wife's Cricut for some masking ideas I have but I hate touching that thing and have a learning curve ahead. Why not spend more hours I don't have on a sick paint job to destroy in 30 minutes?

Buy you some UV resin and a UV flashlight off Amazon. Scuff the panels with 80 grit. Brush on the resin. Hit the resin with the UV light for a few seconds. It will strengthen the panels and be a lot easier to sand to smooth them out.

Going to have to give that a try!

It works better for some than for others
Have 3 more to hang
I've tried a few holders and this one has worked the best.
I would have preferred to move the arms in by an inch to catch the axles instead of of the tires.
But I pretty consistently drive them so they shouldn't have time to get TOO bad.
And when I lay them in the car for transport I roll the wheels so the spot has a chance to return to normal before I drive.
But everyone can see all my cool trucks when they come in AND it freed up a LOT of space in the ol RC room

also, witht hem in front of me like this i can't keep my hands off em, so ill be rotating the tires thru fidgeting with them lol, this should aslo HELP WITH THE DEFORMATION OF THE TIRES, ONLY 2 HAVE SILICONE INSETS THE REST ARE JUST THE FOAMS THAT CAME WITH THEMoops

@TeknoJ dont hesitate on any other suggestions bro lol, that screw box is the shiznit, wifes jealous and wants one now lol
That is by far my favorite. I have tried quite a bit of the storage designs; most are too short in drawer size.

Got @WickedFog to design me a prop rod for the king beetle king sling monster truck .
I put the bug body on and it doesn't let it flip forward all the way. Nose hits the servo.
So working on it was a bit of a pain.
Now it's easy peasy.
Thanks bro it works perfectly
Printed in petg only color I had was red so red it is!
(Until I grab some green paint)

I 3D printed a case for my Garmin Xero C1. Much more compact than my Appalachian engineered version. Our printer almost never stops if I'm at home, I just don't post a lot of the mundane day to day prints. At some point, I'm gonna print a Bomber chassis to use the trans and axles in the garage.

Mine don't run very often anymore, but the other day I bought a bunch of ground beef that was on sale, and I decided to make hamburger patties out of some of it. I like making big patties, so I 3d printed a ring mold 120mm x 20mm deep. It works pretty darned good I must say. That's one of the benefits of having a 3d printer. When you have a need for something simple, you can just print it.

That is a pretty cool looking case!

Oh, I have two of those bucket seats too 😉
