I made a nice Italian Pot Roast today.

My best friend and his wife invited me over for a Valintines day dinner yesterday. Huge Beef shirt ribs smoked on the Traeger for seven hours (oh my goodness), smashed potatoes, jalapeno poppers (wrapped in bacon), red skin potato salad, dressed up Bush grilling beans (added onion and bacon) and the best garlic bread ever. They know I love Carrot cake so he thought to get me a single slice (they're not big fans of the cake). Of course, his wife always makes sure I take home enough for a couple days worth of meals 🥰. I won't need to eat today 😂.

That plate of bbq looks fantastic!

I think I've found my favorite frozen french fries: Lamb Weston

No doubt. Lamb Weston fries are made in Eagle Idaho which is just over an hour from me.
Awesome fries.
We are famous for potatoes and fishing upside down. :D

Another round of Mexican black beans with pork....and generic cheezits. The off brand 1s are way saltier so I keep buying them.

I always make a big pot when I cook these. By the time you reheat them for the 3rd time they are so much better. All the flavors of spice and cilantro etc blended together. They thicken as the water evaporates. The last serving is always the best one.
