That is exactly how I like my scrambled eggs! I've tried describing this at diners/eateries, and the wait person would just look at me completely perplexed. So, I would just say never mind and get over easy.
I also like my bacon like the way you cook it as well. I hate when bacon is cooked until its all stiff and brittle.

Restaurants can be a hassle. I gave up on getting steak anywhere a long time ago,lol. Just having to explain what black and blue means is a bad sign.....

Same here when I request medium rare salmon. It always come, well done.
 
That sounds terrible....and dry...so dry
I'm thinking: if your cook can't pull off simply pan frying a piece of fish in shorter durations, then just bring it to me raw with a bowl of soy sauce and a sharp knife!
