Lol. I saw the pic and was thinking just that. Where's the powdered sugar? I just made Breydon the same thing, but with links instead of patties, and his had powdered sugar 😛
Last time we had links and they were terrible. They were Johnsonville which really surprised me.

I just buy the Brown and Serve. Or the Eckridge maple breakfast links.

They can chain that crap to the dumpster. Here in the deep south, everywhere drowns any seafood in gobs of Old Bay and butter. So all you taste is the overpowering Old Bay. I greatly prefer Chef Paul Prudhomme's seafood magic blend.

Not sure I've ever had 'Old Bay'... is it a seasoning blend?

I have a large container of Chef Paul's salmon blend. It's pretty good, and goes well with chicken and ribs, as well.

Nobody makes their own sausage

I think you in the wrong Deep South 😅

I'm just too lazy!
If you're lazy like me, get the pork already ground, add seasoning and make patties. You'll have breakfast sausage for a month. It's super easy.

I get it though, I don't always do it that way.....I love food and would rather make it how I want it. But that's not always ideal, sometimes kids, time, life gets in the way.
