McMuffins are great when you want breakfast and two frisbees. 😁

Wife made pork chops night before last, with compound butter and a side salad.

And yesterday was lunch at one of my favorite local joints Balsam Falls Brewing Co, for the southwest smash burger and seasoned tots. Had to give it CPR before I could take a bite. LOL

It's not a great burger unless you need to go home and shower afterwards!

Yea it's fine. It's just it's put together super sloppy
It's McDonald's so.... yeah- it all is
Yeah, as long as all the components are there and it's cooked/toasted, consider it a win. Sadly, I've learned to lower my expectations from US fast food restaurants a long time ago.

Exactly! There's a trick to making a burger juicy. Just flip once. Then you get to wear it as you eat it 🤣

While I do love a double quarter pounder with cheese and bacon here and there. I try to avoid fast food joints. We cook a lot. I like cooking and coming up with recipes most of the time.

My bacon egg and cheese.

Homemade cured and smoked bacon, local eggs, Vermont cheddar. I like to cook

Bread making was always pretty high up the list on my mom's side. My aunt made the best breads I've ever had. I wish I had spent some time with her when she was making her amazing cinnamon rolls.

I just started making my own breads a couple years ago. This recipe here is from an Indian lady I found online. If you like Naan bread, this stuff is AMAZING, and super simple. You can toss some minced garlic in it and holy cow is it good!

I'll be trying my hand at hotdog buns here this weekend.

Fast food just means it gets to you fast, not perfect at all. And overpriced for the effort they put into making it. I just live with it now.
Here fast and food don't go together. Been times i could make it at home faster!
