I made me some Walmart brand seasoned fries in the air fryer a couple hours ago. Damn, they were really good.

@Doom!'s mention of Apple Jacks has me craving the hell out of them right now. All I have for sweet snacks is Fruity Pebbles and peanut butter ice cream. And some peanute butter sandwich cookies. Hmm

I may go make me some oatmeal cookies instead

We went to a farm where they made and sold maple syrup when I was a kid. I still remember how good that stuff was.

Yup. The tree farm I went to had something similar, but it was about 5' wide by about 10' long. Do you sell your syrup?

Around 1500 gallons finished syrup this season so far. 2200 last.its not my business but I help a couple friends.

We still poke fun at a buddy, who's a city boy, attempting ti make syrup one year. He was inspired after we went to a place that made maple syrup and had a restaurant as well.
He went out and bought a bunch of tapping equipment and proceeded to tap a number of trees on his property. So, I was over and he proudly showed me his set-up. I said it was great, but not sure if oak trees makes good syrup.


I've never had real maple syrup until we had kids. Mrs. X only buys real maple syrup for the kiddies.
Not gonna lie, I actually like the fake stuff better
