What heating method do you use to make jerky?

It's been years, but I was on a beef jerky kick for a span of time. I still have my large capacity Excalibur dehydrator. Used to make dried fruits when the kids were very, very young (and liked fruits). Put it away for several years, then starting making jerky. I'll have to put it back into action one of these days.

How long was this hot dog 🌭? 😶
Average. 🤣🤣 It was hawiian rolls, so they were small.

I used to make my own beef jerky. Last time was 5 or 6 years, it was 3.xx or 4.xx a pack of steak. Now its 10.xx 😟

Dinner tonight: Korean beef bulgogi

No food porn. My attempt at eating healthier. cinnamon churro flavored protein powder, fresh frozen strawberries and blueberries. One scoop of natural peanut butter and 10oz of almond milk. Myself and regular milk don't get along. I typically add half a frozen banana too but I'm out. But it makes for a tasty breakfast smoothie, plenty of protein and it's vegan if that's your thing.

Lunch sandwiches are natural wheat bread, fresh turkey breast, pepperjack cheese, spicy brown mustard and a couple pickles. I'll post something tasty tomorrow lol.

Yeah, I need to add more healthy days to my regiment. I eat fruits and some form of veggies most days, but would like to increase it more.

I just told my coworker about the churro protein powder, and he got very excited. He'll be looking for it!

I have a night time smoothie I try to have every other night too. Spinach, half a avacado, kiwis, almond milk, honey and ice. Kiwis are really good for especially at night. Natural melatonin, vitamin C and so on. It helps me sleep better and overall feeling better too.

This is the protein powder.

I'm not into fitness like I used to be, but it's been my favorite I've ever used.

What is this word "healthy" you guys keep speaking about?! 🤣

I am allergic to just about anything that grows on a tree :( makes eating healthy just about impossible.

My kid has a few different allergies, so it's tough, but there's a lot of way to get creative.

I used to hit the gym before work, 5 days a week. However, since COVID and my shift change, 5:30am-2pm, I haven't gone back to the gym. I've just been running outside(6 miles, 3x week) but I haven't really hit it as hard for the past year 🙁
I need to get my booty back to the gym on a regular regiment!
A lot of fresh veggies too. If I cook 'em I'm ok, but fresh makes me itch. Sucks because I love fruit.
Yeah, boiled grapes just doesn't sound appealing!
