Pink Snapper. Yes it was kept and has been eaten already and was delicious

Never seen someone so happy to go fishing.

That was the first cast of the day and he (my son) hooked on that. That's also his first Pink Snapper. He was stoked.

He then caught a squid. We ate that too.

While the snapper would be more fun to catch, I'd more prefer to eat the squid. I used to love throwing whole undressed squids on the grill, and eating everything except the beak, eyes, and bone plate. That ink makes for a particularly good sauce!

This time, the Snapper was absolutely delicious. Even my wife liked it and she doesn't really like seafood. The squid was just OK.

Day off, on this beautiful day!
Just got in from errands and shopping. Picked up fresh made fried chicken from the grocery store for lunch. Crisped it up in the air fryer at home. Yum!

Had a super busy and productive day, today. So, settled for fresh avocado in place of a fried egg on that burger.
