Nordy is a real good teacher. Even tho he still gets a bit too close sometimes. He knows if he stays close enough, I’ll either drop something or give in to the tax.

Tonight, I made this yummy chicken mushroom in cream sauce. Had it over brown rice with leftover roasted cauliflower. Fruit smoothie. Cashews. Dates. Mini peanut butter Ritz.

My favorite chicken and waffles on the planet came with a side of maple bacon gelato, very close to ice cream. Man I miss that place.

Probably the most traditional Dutch dish is stamppot/hutspot, which is boiled then mashed onion and carrot in equal amounts, then add about twice that amount of potatoes and mashed together. And some chopped sausage through it. The ingredients remained seperate but you've come pretty close
I hope your cat only does that under supervision lol, mine tends to try some of my muesli once in a while

I'm keen to try stamppot (or hutspot!) - a mash-up of lots of things I'm used to eating separately.

Mr Sam Bo the cat has a very sophisticated palate and likes to try our food. He never steals, always waits patiently and gives us a quirky look. A bit like this:

Why is he in a fruit bowl? Nobody knows!

I've had to bake this banana bread for more then twice as long and at 392°F instead of 347°F, but it did turn out very good.
