haha, you think thats bad. i completely stripped 3rd gear in the corrado. can't just swap the tranny cause its got a $900 limited slip diff in it, and on top of that ill just blow 3rd again because of too much power. at this point my only option is to repair it with a $1800 gearset. and that doesn't include any labor or possibly other damaged parts inside. so much for this years income tax refund

How many ponies is that putting to the ground? Have you dyno'd it? Sounds like quiet a bit.

stock it makes about 145whp, right now its doing 200whp at 8psi with ignition cutting out its so rich at 5500rpm, redline is 7k. when this gets fixed, i will be finishing up tuning the motor to run 18-22psi. roughly 300whp, plus i have a 70shot of nitrous ready to go too. its in the car and I've used it before, but i wont use it again until this new motor is fully tuned. the abusive part comes from a solid billet aluminum motor mount, 6 puck copper clutch, and the limited slip diff. 3rd is a notorious gear in these trannies.

Either the Volvo S60R or the Audi RS6.
Very nice choices, my Dad owns a 2004 Volvo S60R. It has the body kit and everything. The thing is a blast to drive and it sure hauls :)

Lol, All wheel drive + 300 hp + 6 speed + michlen alpin tires = one of the fastest cars you can get to go in the snow. :D

I'm 16, and this is the fastest car I have ever driven. I am hugely into 1:1 cars and can't even imagine driving a Lambo or Ferarri or soemthing becuase the Volvo is 300 hp and it is incredible. 500 hp must be insane...

The Volvo does 0-60 in 5.4, an Enzo in 3.3? It almost seems impossible lol.

Just be glad you don't have to deal with the DSM tranny curse! I have to roll into 1st, it grinds 2nd, doesn't like to go into 3rd, grinds 5th sometimes, and grinds reverse sometimes!! The only way to fix it is to either pay $600 for a rebuild so it'll do it again in a couple months, or spend $3-400 plus shipping for a different one that probably does the same thing. Of course there is the $1500 TRE tranny upgrade and the $5K dogbox from Magnus motorsports!!!

Thats why I bought the Hondas. This poor CRX sat in a Junkyard for a year!! I changed the oil, and put in a new battery and it fired right up and runs/drive great! I got 2 of them for $600 and the one I put back together has a ZC swap and an ACT clutch already! The other one I parted out and made $200 on top of what I paid for them!

Under I would like a nice old 66 Chevy pickup. Over I would like the Vector.

1968 Plymouth Hemi Cuda with everything orignal down to the tire cap's or a 1974 Detamoso Pantera

Under: a '73 k5 blazer lifted 10" with 44 inch boggers, high hp engine and a bullet proof drive train. I dont really care about a nice paintjob, because they get messed up fast.

Over: all into my '67 mustang coupe.
