i was reading the thread about the lad in college wh gets to build and keep a savage X and thought.. what would i build if i had unlimited money?
and here it is......
i would have the Losi 8ight-t with all alluminium hop-ups, specktrum radio gear, ACE servo's, a .23 RB concept engine and a 2047 EFRA tuned pipe

so what would you have?

:radio:

That new Associated buggy thats coming out. With a novarossi, Airtronics M11. And a custom painted body to top it off. That would hit the spot. I'm geting the buggy anyway, screw racing the revo i can't keep up with those damn 8t's, so that will be my race rig, minus the novarossi.

um.. probably the one I designed and would build from scratch

I'm with you on that one lesson.

I'd like a truck that had large hefty shocks that were installed inboard like the revo. It would need to be a BB from the factory with the drive train to support it. It would need to be long enough to not require a shoe horn and elbow grease to work on it. It would also need a steel roll cage mounted on rubber contacts to absorb impact. Definitely two speed with a slipper and 4wd. Also, it shouldn't bottom out from dropping it from 6-7 feet in the air, it should withstand such punishment all day long without snapping a shock or any suspension part.

I really like how the revo's suspension is protected and how it works. I'd just like it BB, be able to take more punishment and have a bullet proof drive train that can handle 2+ horse power without breaking a sweat.

Anyone make that yet?

I'm with Olds on this one. I love the Revo's suspension. It is really close to what the 1:1 monster trucks use.:goodpost:

arn't 2 speed for off-road bad because you gain more revs when your airbourne and when you land in second gear it takes forever to accelrate?

but i agree i do like the revo suspension

I have never had any of those problems with a 2 or 3 speed while off road. If the tranny is set right you won't have a problem.

i agree with olds, a revo with a BB and a drivetrain to support it, aritronics radio gear, a production truck body with a nice paint job, nice wheels, and a roll cage, that would settle me for a while.

i would like mine to have an engine that is like the electric one's. Starts perfectly everytime no fuss. That would be excellent

well, i am in high school.......lol

yea, i would of picked a diff one, but the price range, and the time i had to pick one, i just grabbed it!

LOL, all you guys saying Revo never drove a truggy have you?!?!

I have to agree here! Jet turned me onto truggies and I have to say, it's as close to a wet dream on wheels as I can afford! I'm just hoping for the day I can afford a better mill for the beastie, but my Mugen sure is fun! I wanted to take it out for a bit today, just to wheel around, but the damn rain came rolling in!
