Can someone send me a mounted complimentary set so I can try them in that local rock Cory? Dm me if u will...

Tires showed up today, same size as the stock set. Wheels add some weight so hoping they help with rollovers. Toying with the idea of using one of the stock tires as a front mounted spare; but don’t want it to be in the way when

Found something significant today crawling on my table annoying my wife while she sews. Sounded like the tires were rubbing on the body, and was easily repeatable but.. the tires aren't even close to the body. So with more investigation I found the shock is twisting and the fake shock reservoir was interfering with the tire and actually stopping the suspension from moving. I cut em off. Will be upgrading soon anyway, but just a heads up.

Reckon yall already found this issue lol. Just trying to be helpful. 🤘

You made a good post, if I had done it before maybe you would have known sooner, my bad.

Great looking wheels.

I know @Xraycer cuts his off and I cut mine off too.
I trimmed them all off because they're fake, they look ugly, and I can't see them anyway. So, why have the excess weight?
I never noticed any rubbing issue, but regardless, it's now a non issue for me.

@Iowa_dude it's good you found this issue and bringing it to everybody's attention 👍

Installed the new tires on the beadlock rims and drove it around at home. The set up and install is super easy, and performance was noticeably better in terms of less rollover.
Exactly what I wanted and was inexpensive. What a great rig!!!

My Mofo rc stuff showed up today. Big difference, and +5hp from the stickers :). looking forward to getting it on the trail. Been pondering putting a better brushed motor in it, possibly the injora t66? Also going to get a couple more batteries. I keep running the one I have completely dead sometimes and I'm sure it's not good for it. Do you guys run timers? Might change the drive shafts to treal at the same time i do the motor. Other stuff is on its way, I'll update upon arrival.

You run it completely dead? You definitely don't want to do that. You don't want to run a LiPo below 3v/cell, otherwise you will damage the battery. A damaged battery is a fire hazard waiting to happen, either in the vehicle or on the charger.

It happens. Need to get a volt meter I guess, then run it on a timer and see what I'm getting for a run time. I'm dangerous, It'll be alright 👍

I've just always figured the stock esc has lipo cut-off. I've only run mine dead a few times, between my 5 rigs. I'll use my voltage meter next time it happens.
I'm waiting for those Mofo nano beast motors to come back in stock. That and a Furitek esc will be going into RigorMortis. The rest of the 24s will stay brushed.

Mud slingers are the most aggressive tire around. I like my super swampers too but mud slingers are crazy grippy. I have some in 1/10 scale also..
Check out the little guy racing tires. Same size as the slingers height wise, little wider. Way more grip.

Hyrax is my number 2 pick, or number 1 for the small tires.

Yes, let us know what the voltage reads that would be awesome 👌

Oh, if you mean you run it til it stops running, that is the lvc kicking in. I thought you meant dead dead lol. Ours stopped at 3.4v the last I checked, but it was sitting for a few before I threw it on the charger and saw that.

I may have to wait a bit but I will check them out. The wife has recently commented on my growing tire collection. 🤣
