What to do with old fuel

I'm NOT telling you to do this, so dont say I did. But, if you live some where that allows you to burn your trash, burn it with some of that stuff. Its really cool how this stuff burns compared to regular gas.

You could always dump it in your used motor oil container. I know not every body has one, but every one has a local quick lube/oil change place. I'm sure they'd get rid of it for ya.

I'm with SNG go out to a big open parking lot. write your name or something and light it. it burns really cool looking!

no trouble on the flaming burn outs, just have some water ready it should put the fire out. also methanol flames in daylight can't be seen.

doesn't it!?! Its really cool. It moves SO slow compared to gas, wich I would have thought it be a fast burning stuff.

That sounds like a explosion waiting to happen to me since the fire is so close to the tank.

I watched a video of somebody doing it on YouTube a while back, and it went pretty well. Looked like Back to the Future with rooster tails.

yea the last time i did it, it looked like a blueish white blob on the ground.

For the price I paid for a gallon. I would strain it in a funnel with a paper towel then blend it with some new fuel and burn it in my revo. Why waste it, It's not like milk that go's sour and turns into cottage cheese.

sorry to burst your bubble there man, but fuel does go bad. the methane will evaporate out of the mix, and water will condensate in there as well.

Yes it will go bad . But when ,what is the time frame for calling it old 12 to 24 months. And when is it bad I do'nt know? But right now I'm using fuel thats about 14 months old and the revo starts fine and run good. Can you tell me how long it takes for all the methane to evaporate and be consedered bad?

it depends on how much you open the container, and if you left the cap off.
