ps..if u want my volcano..pm me...

Hmm I have three nice revos in the FS area......great deals.....;)

Naw, I like the savage xss kit on the cover for a truck........I have picco .26 I would sell you cheap for it...;)

what are they?? i am new to this..looking for complete package as well with controller and what not.. any ideas anybody?

You can go with an RTR savage, or purchase one of TalonOnes' Revos. You can't go wrong with a truck from Talon!

His trucks are in great shape when he sells them. They are used but he does take care of them. I bought one a couple of months ago for a project I'm working on.:D

And if he still has one when I get the scratch up, I'm definately snagging one. I've been eyeing the Revo for some time now.

The Schwartz RTR would be the most complete for your situation. That truck one the Norcal regionals last year...nice rig.

But if you want to BUILD one...the Savage kit is a cool deal.

what about abuse caan they handle jumps well?.. so don't get the tmaxx?

T Maxx is not that bad, but had durability issues. There are upgrades you can get to address some of these, but you will still end up replacing alot of parts if you bash and jump alot. If you can score one for really cheap then it might not be a bad beginner truck. I would say spend alittle more and get a good truck that can handle the abuse from the get go. Savage has been recommended several times and for good reason, they are tough. It is pretty hard to break one. Like all rc's, they do have weak points so make sure you do some research before deciding. These days, most weak points are addressed with upgrades. I recommended the Monster GT. They, like the Savage, are tough. They are not any better than the Savage, but just my personal preference. You can do alot of stuff with them including racing and hardcore bashing. To answer your question, MGT's jump very well and are capable of big jumps. Look around and see what kinda deal you can find. I would whole heartedly recommend a Savage or MGT. Revos are nice too. They are smaller (1/10) compared to the other two (1/8) so it all comes down to what you want and really which one tickles your fancy. In the end, all three will be a great choice. Enough babbling from me. lol

ok..so I've narrowed it down.. i think i want either a monster, a savage, or his schwartz... i can't find the schwartz anywhere on the internet.. who makes it??? the most important thing is can i get parts locally?? i know i can for the monster and the savage.. the only local shops we have around here are hobbytown usa.. the reason i am getting a new truck is because i am tired of waiting weeks for parts to arrive via internet...

Hay Swarm, go with the savage with the roto start, This thing is a rolling brick you can't break it. I have an LST, i love it. It is a great race truck. The savage wont disipoint for a basher. Go for it.
