I found this vid and thought you needed to see it. It starts of a little slow but ends with a bang. This is what happens if you do not get that steady flow of nitro fumes, you just do dumb stuff. So sit back and watch this guy launch his electric off of a bridge, it is pretty crazy.

That was quite a bit of air, it took forever for him to finnaly hit the jump and not the wall. Pretty amazing he didn't break more than that. Good vid.

While I must say that you might be directing it towards my super jump in 1 week however I thought it was pretty lame considering the dude only got about a 4 feet of air and the rest of the hang time was supplied by the bridge.

I like the video of the 1/8 buggy jumping the house...at least that had purpose...and it was cool

I think the point is that electric is disposable, when you're done with it just pitch it off the bridge. No one would do that to a nitro. Would they El??

Yeah that was so freaking boring!!! Funny find though as the guy used two batery packs and a crappy ass Mech Speed control. I wish he did break something so he would neveer have the chance to make a vid that lame. Should have had a longer distance to get more top speed and do some flips!

No El that was not directed at your super jump, there is a big difference between tossing your electric truck off of a bridge and firing up your high powered nitro buggy, maneuvering your way to a massive jump at high speed and then sailing in to the unknown while praying that it will land on all four wheels. Know that will make good video. Tossing a truck off of a bridge is just strange, I was hoping it would explode when it hit the ground. Maybe for his next trick he will get on an elevator, go to the 60th floor and launch it off the roof. That would be fun to watch.

Ok cool. I actually just got back from the track walking it again and getting a green light for next weekend. M&M, El Destructo and I were all putting our brains together as how to best survive the jump. There are a few obstacles on the landing area the M&M pointed out adding a few degrees of difficulty. We also are thinkg a softer suspension will make the buggy more controlable on the long approach to the jump. Also I will need to adjust the a-arms from being nearly flat for the best trajectory in the flight to down lower to give more ground clearance to the initial contact with the jump itself.

I am exceptionally envious of Josh Cryol (hoewver you spell his last name) because he had a fairly straight shot on asphalt for his approach and I am going to be hitting top speed on some bumpy dirt. I might ever have to bring a rake to smooth out the approach so that I will be able to hit the best possible speed before I am airborne. I imagine I will also make a few test jumps on some of the smaller jumps there before I attempt the impossible.
