What Radio System do you use and what is good or bad about it.--Joe

I use Spektrum. was using a dx3, now i'll be using a 3r....can't think of any thing bad about it except it can be confusing at first using all the features.

I use a Futaba 3PKS with the 2.4 FASST module for everything except mini-z’s which I use either an AM or Kyosho’s 2.4 mini-z module.

I love the radio and would not consider another one if I didn’t need a 3 position 3rd channel for crawling. Since the 3PKS does not have a 3 position 3rd channel, I will be picking up the Spektrum DX3R just for crawling in the near future. The 3PKS will be used for everything else.

Futaba 3PM (2.4 FASST). It's not as expensive as the 4PK but still packs a hell of a lot of features in it. I like the feel & weight of the radio, it sits comfortably and has excellent battery life.

Airtronics MX-3 FHSS (2.4 ghz). I love it; it's so easy to use and gets great range.

Sanwa Airtronics M11 with the 2.4 GHz module.

On a clear day I can get HBO and all the ShoTime channels.
The one on top is FM, as you can see by the antenna, and below is with the 2.4 module.

Also a JR XS3pro for the crawler, and a few 6 channel computer stick radios for the helis and boats.

Both excellent radios. It's also good to have a 3rd channel if you want to use reverse. I have no use for 2 ch radios. Never did.

Just bought a spektrum dx2.0 system. everything works great except i only get about 125 yard range. Shouldent i get more?
