Wat other than shaft driven 4wd is there?

I notice when I look at things for sale when something is 4wd it always says "shaft driven 4wd" I am wondering wat other kind there is, if there is another kind. Thanx for any info

Nick

There are belt driven RCs out there.

Most of the other drivetrains are belt driven. The reason your c'ing so many shaft drives on the market now is because it's superior in many ways. I love shaft driven TOuring cars and I'd never go back to belts. THe belts work great but they can require ALLOT of matinence compared to shaft drive.

EDIT - Skyy apparently we posted @ the same time.

Peace

Dang! How dumb could I be? Y didn't I think of that:doh:
Thanx for the info guys! I'll be out back beating myself for this useless thread.

This is one open door, I'll take a pass on...

Regardless, the only truly stupid question is the one you don't ask. A newbie to the hobby might not know what is out there, and this is a righteous question. So despite the origin, not a useless thread at all.

Lol...SKymaxx....

Like SKymaxx is saying. Some think it's almost cliche but their are no stupid questions only stupid answers. That and people spreading opinions as fact about things they have no personal experience with.

Peace
