Here's a little something I've been working on lately. I got tired of dealing with the huge truck body on my Baja 5T so I did the Kraken conversion on it.

This is what it looked like before.

And this is what it looks like now. Hard to believe it's the same buggy.

The Kraken conversion looks awesome. I'm really fighting off wanting to buy either a Losi 5ive-T or Losi MTXL.

Very nice conversion.

I got the clone X2, and I see myself driving much more the Baja, 2wd is more challenging and way faster w less engine compared to 4wd.

On certain surfaces the 4wd shines but to me it gets boring quick. Its like driving an rc w training wheels, but thats just me.

Here is my Baja clone KM Rovan, there are no shelf queens in my stable...

Location is a construction site near my house, it looked like as if I was driving it on the moon. Power slides all day long w clouds of dust all over the place, its truly a warrior for been a clone.

Sweet! I've been looking at a KM roller to build a brushless version. These things are just too loud to rip up and down the street around here. If HPI is coming back like they say they are, I really wish they would consider a roller kit.

Funny you mention the moon, I have a strip of loose red clay that I run in. I love kicking up monstrous clouds of dust and roostertails as high as my head! There are times when I can only see my 5B's headlights through the red clouds. It's awesome! I like to think that's what it would look like on Mars. They are usually completely caked with red dust after a tank or two through each.Thankfully, Baja's are a breeze to clean. Wheels off, electronics box out, hose em off outside and blow em dry with the air compressor. 10 screws and two clips hold the Kraken cage to the chassis.

My 5B SS has the Zenoah G290RC / Dominator pipe combo and it's just obnoxious. Fast and stupid loud. The Kraken has my 5B's 26cc with the Dominator Fast pipe. I'm still tuning on it. I just put an 8K clutch in it along with those new tires. It should grip and go like hell now.

Both have 30.5cc
Still got in the box a Zenoah 290, want to do the port work before installing it and until one of the engines die. I am more old school and like the baja look, and how it sits lower center of gravity, but thats just personal preference, the kit is worth every penny for sure.

Front row cars - M.rage (mini-10 scale touring car), Mini-Trooper(1/16 SCT) converted to mini-truggy, Remo "Rocket" 1/16 SCT, 1/18 MT "Sandy Land" and a 1/12 2wd truggy, I forget the brand. The little white car is a 1/28 "QQ" Cartoon car.

Quads are WLToys "Triphibian", E011 "Block Drone" and a Bat QX105
