If I decide to upgrade I can always go back to original, but the body would be changed so I don't tear up the ABS original.

My original Tamiya Hornet and Blackfoot.

Blackfoot has some repurposed electronics from my Raider, once I went brushless in that.
Hornet is all original except for a new ESC to replace the mechanical one. Both still fun after all these years!!!

Nice job moving the Raider's parts to resurrect an old friend.
I sent my BLS ESC to a friend in need.

Yeah, looks that way doesn't it. Always wanted one as a kid, used to drool over the Blackfoot at the hobby shop in the mall. Now, if I see one I like I just grab it. Loved the look/style of the Outcast when I saw it online so I grabbed it last week. Haven't had a chance to run it yet, hopefully can get out in the snow over Christmas.

I see a Kraton and XMAXX 8S in my future......

I'm still very new to the rc world. My first rc was a HPI troghy truck 1/12. Awesome car doesn't break. Gave it to my nephew, (@Qwin ) my brother and I have upgraded it to a brushless motor. I have a HSP Brontosaurus not such a great car sadly waste of money. Not running at the moment. Will get it up and running again one day. Then I have a thunder tiger sparrow hawk xxb 1/10 brushless system. Really awesome car loving it. Then I have the Arrma Typhon on the way should be here in Jan

Built this from a kit back in 95'..HPI RS4-MT cooked the esc one month after changing to a 19t brushed motor. Had no idea what I was doing back then. Recently put used esc in, and its back! Now i can't wait to get my SENTON! !
