Dad recently passed. He had this nitro buggy. Mostly blue aluminum. Had a gs racing engine and pipe. .21.
I've looked and looked an I can't say for sure.

It is a GS Storm Unlimited. You can tell by the longer suspension arms and extended axles.

I think this gs engine is junk. Any other good brands out there. It has a tuned pipe. .21 size.

There is tons of good engines in .21 , it's a matter of how much are you willing to spend.
Check out all the online suppliers like RCPlanet, Horizon Hobbies, A Main hobbies and so on. There are several.

Where these any Good on track. I'd love to complete it and race it. Has spiral cut ring and pinions

I don't recall ever seeing one compete in a race. By looking at it, it looks like like it's more of a basher than racer. With the design of today's race trucks, I don't think I would spend the money to get this one race ready. The worst part is, parts might be hard to come by and when you crash these, it's not pretty. They are heavy and fast.
