What is your least favorite hardware to work with in RC, and what do you wish would be used instead? Mine is Philips head screws, and I wish they would use either Torx or square. Square are even better than Torx, and nigh impossible to strip.

Sae hex. Bc I have mostly metric tools and sae seems to strip even more easily for me it seems. To be fair the only experience I had with sae hex is on a old XXT I was taking apart for a rebuild and the screw heads were quite rusty and havent moved in well over 25 years lol.
If talking just in general not rc, id say flat head. Sucks more if I use a flat head bit with my electric driver. Most of the time it slips.

Button head screws. They're designed from the ground up to strip. I'm with you that square or torx heads would be better.

JIS screws. cause a Philips screwdriver will strip them. and who the hell has JIS screwdrivers?

Get the correct tool for the correct job and 99.9% of the time you won't have any issues, most of the time I see people complaining about this hardware and that hardware it's usually user error that causes the problem..!!
My personal favourite is people stripping various hex heads to then show you pics of the heads full of dirt or soil and they wonder why the tool tip strips the bolt..
Oh, and on a side note any and all slot heads should burn in hell..!!

Phillips hardware in general. That is the number one screw I have rounded in my life.
I've delt with poor hex drivers, weak screws, but if there is one screw I universally have hatred for, it's a Phillips.

I noticed my iFixit drivers actually fit better and have less wiggle in the heads than the ARRMA hexes that came with my car, so I use the iFixit bits instead.I do..!!

I used to hate them too, then I learned about JIS vs. Phillips and bought JIS #1 and #2 screwdrivers. Once you've used both, you'll know right away if your choice of Phillips or JIS is correct for the fastener.
But it does stink that there are two types of these cross-head screws and identifying which is which is not immediately obvious by looking.

I ordered Tamiya JIS drivers to build my TT02 and they still strip.... FFS they're miserable.
