I just bought a used Traxxas Tmaxx With a TON of aluminum upgrades, a new tuned pipe, and a brand new motor. The first time i started it up it took off and crashed into a curb. I have no idea as to why this happened and i came for some assistance. I hope you guys can help me!!! I tried adjusting the LSN and HSN what else could i be doing wrong?

+1^^ Also make sure your receiver battery's are fully charged and the transmitter is on. A fail safe would be a good investment.

We have no way to know if it was a bad purchase. Thats about the going price for a Maxx that is loaded with aluminum and in excellent condition. You can't just put a nitro RC out there and expect it to function properly unless you have checked everything and verified that it is set up correctly. There is a lot to learn about tuning these cars and trucks and there is a lot of info available through this site and the people on it.
You throttle should be closed at idle except for the air gap. You must learn to set the trim on your servos to where they should be during operation. Go look up the PDF operating files on your truck and your transmitter. You can find the info on your truck here; http://traxxas.com/support. It will tell you how to tune your motor and all other adjustments that you need. You need to read this stuff and start over.

Another thing that has happened to me before is that there is a little rod that has to snap on to the carb near the lsn.
