Just vaccuum that issue.

My first car was an .049 with a propeller on the back. Tied to a string that was staked down with a nail in a BIG parking lot.
Wow did it draw a crowd every time it ran. I thought it was the coolest thing ever devised by mankind.

Yup, it's a USA1, as someone *coughcoughMONKEYcoughcoughWRENCHcoughcough* knows...... complete with pink lines, in all her glory!

Nope, more like wondering how many times they said "rad" and "gnarly" in that particular issue.

you dropped your cane at your feet, if you can't see it i guess you gotto bend that old back of yours.

just dont bore me with those old 'when i was your age...' lectures and wartime stories. just not interested.

Yup that first pic of yours Rolex is Koyosho, My friend still has his. I have been trying to get him to get it down form the rafters for about 2 months now. I want him to get back into nitro cars. It has been sitting up in his rafters for at least 10 years.

I've never seen anything like it. It just popped up in the random gallery. Any ideas? It's obviously a wheelie machine. The pic was labled 'Old Stuff'.

OMG!! I WAS IN MY LHS AND SOMEONE BROUGHT IN ONE THAT LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE IT!!!!!! AND I FORGOT TO ASK WHAT IT WAS!!!! HE SAID IT WAS AN OLD SOMETHING.. JUST FORGOT THE NAME!!!

I think it's totally rad and gnarly that you guys came up with all that info. Groovy. Your all hip. Far out.

By the way, when I was your age, I was exactly as old as you are now.

It's amazing how far the hobby has come in 20 years. Just looking at that old engine, you can see a bunch of design issues that have since been fixed that we take for granted these days.

It's cool to see those old rigs.

I'd say that's the one. Even looking at the parts in the box, I'd say that's right. There are some mods to the engine like the cooling head and rear twin pipe muffler, but everything else is the same.
It STILL looks like it would be a blast to drive and easy to work on.

That is actually a 2wd Koyosho Vanning. They called them the Mint Las Vegas.
I have 2 vannings and am always looking for more.

lol this is just like a history lesson for me

but your vanning doesn't look similar. the fuel tank for yours is at the very back. the mystery car had it in the center of the car and its engine was really offsetted back

maybe you had an earlier version? the chassis, if you can call it that, does look the same though.

The vanning is 4wd with a chain, the Mint is 2wd with the engine in the back. These were made in the late 80's The red one is 87 my dad built, and the other one i got from ebay.

Yea but at least you know what it is. Lol. There a a few different models of this RC, Vanning, Presto, Mint Las Vegas, and this think there is a Las Vegas also.
