A .46 is just a torque machine. All it'll do is just keep the front end up and you'll get little speed out of it. They don't rev very high compared to a .21.
As pooter said they're all torque, and yes plenty of it, but if you want it to go fast you'll need a bigger clutchbell, (more teeth) but it is way too big for you're 1/8th buggy. You may be able to make it fit but it wont be pretty...

true but i measured my .28 nitro engine and it was 130 mm in length and 135 in hight and those measurements are the same as the .46 i think the differences:bow: is the .46 is just wider
Most of the 21 sized engines are using the same size crank cases. Yes the bigger sized engines are really torque monsters nothing more. The only one that I have read to be able to get up more top speed is the OS 28 Truggy engine.
