I think you right found the body it says ultra of pro. And I think they came with a .25. The fuel tank has old syrup look stuff in it. Nasty. And carb is gummy. What glow plugs do those engines take?

You seem to be missing the entire top of the motor. It will most likely need a rebuild if it has been sitting like that.

As for the tank, take it off, run some soapy water through it and get all that crap outa there then re install it. The nitro probably evaporated outa the fuel, and all you have left is the oil.

Lx one for sure, the tank has a built in filter that is gonna be clogged, and I bet that the lid seal is bad ,buy a new tank ,7$ on eBay trust me,I have many parts for this buggy if interested, you can pm me anytime bud

I have the cooling head I took it off to see what the inside of the engine looked like. Top of piston is a bot dark but moves ok and needs a new plug. What is the stock replacement plug. And I will probly toss you a pm when I dig into this bad boy and see what else I need lol.

I dig the finger point! Reminds me of ET,lmao....remember? ......your axle stub is what your pointing at,you may have to search "cvd" to find it,I'm not sure if the lx2 ones will fit but my gut tells me that the lx2 uses an 8mm as apose to a 6mm,I hope someone can weigh in on this

I just picked one of those up used on ebay too. The chassis is really prone to flexing and bending the rear tower.

As for the axle, they are stubs, I'd take the one out you have and hammer it as straight as you can on something flat. Is a weird design, the knuckle/dogbone/stub are 3 different pieces.

Mine was in pretty sad shape when I got it. Engine was shot, diffs were dry, everything was covered in oil/grease... was a real mess.

I cleaned it all up, put lube/oil where it belongs, ditched the engine in favor of an LRP28, made a couple braces for the rear tower and now it sits and waits for warmer weather.

If I was keeping this I would definitely buy another engine and spruce it up a lot more but I'm just getting it run worthy for my co-workers little brother. They. Never did any maintenance to it at all its covered in rust and old oil and dirt. Head shims were trash. Have to get some of those to. Things a mess for sure but I like projects and they are paying for it.:)
