I can't wait to break parts on my slash but unfortunately I gots nuttin ta break yet

So far I've broke
Rear carriers
Blew off two front shock caps
front a-arm
Bent front and rear hinge pins
and one rim

Darn skate board ramps

First time out i stripped the spur gear

at the track i popped a shock cap replaced w/ aluminum caps all around, and snapped a tie rod

Hmmmm, not much really. As far as stock parts go I blew the caps off my rear shocks which is fairly common with Traxxas shocks. I cracked the rear bumper/skid plate. I broke my ST Racing aluminum shocks, darn eyehole mount broke in half after one too many rollovers I guess. So I replaced them with Team Bluestar threaded aluminums instead. Overall it's been the toughest most dependable truck I've owned:D

I did also pop a wheel off, but that was due to driver error:eek:
Remember children.....threadlock is your friend:p

Broke a rear carrier
messed up a bunch of spur pinion gears before i bought a rpm cover to keep the small pebbles out.
toasted a stock esc

Rpm and a brushless kit fixed all my problems.

Rear skid plate
Spur gear
I broke one of the rear hub carrier holes but still works on the other!
Oh and broke one of those body protector things that go on the side which was fixed with industrial glue

front shock tower, front a-arms, casterblocks, hinge pins, both skid plates. Not much damage. waiting to get the vxl system and a 2c lipo. then I'll upgrade the tires and do some damage at the beach.

I broke a rear hub carrier thingy on my 4wd yesterday.

I've bent a coupla front shock rods, busted a rear axle carrier, a coupla broken nerf bars, and the body is shot, not too bad considering what it's been through.

I've had 2 major breakdowns with my Slash... Mind you I was running it in below freezing temperatures in an urban playground environment (ie. lots of asphalt and metal poles...)

1st crash...snow bank
-Front Shock Tower (replaced with RPM)
-Front Shock Cap (eyelet broke off, replaced with Hot Racing alum. caps)

2nd crash...rear wheel caught steel post at full speed
-Chassis (rear mounting holes broke off completely)
-Rear Shock Tower (replaced with RPM)
-Rear Skid (Replaced with Pro-line)
-Rear Axle Carrier (cracked)
-Rear Shock Shaft (bent)
-Kingpin (bent)

Also have had to replace stock motor (sounds like bearings gone...) and nerf bar - both replaced by Traxxas at no cost...

Broke the front center hub yesterday on my slash 4x4.

too many damned stock pinions... i swear you don't even hafta RUN the car to break them :(

After 35 runs, I have only broken a rear bearing carrier. This is a combination of bashing and racing.

Riped the side of the stock body off.
Snaped a shock.
Spun tires off rims.
Broke bolk head twice.
Cooked the stock motor.
Spun a bareing in Traxxas's VXL system
Got nice crunch in body from speed run ans loopin it out under a car...
Big gouge in chassis.
more to come once get new motor :)
