well the new race season is almost hear and i need new power for the nerw year i have about 300 to 375 to spend and i want something i can run in my buggy(ofna) or my truggy(lsp) i need lots of power on low end but the same on top end i want something that is farley easy to tune and isnt going to kill me when it comes time to rebuild for next year. also something that will lasst me for all of my races i race intown 12 times a year and the have 2 heats and a main then i race out of town and they also run 2 heats but then they run 2 mains but they have many more races then we do hear so keep that in mind let me know what you guys think then i will let you know on a decision

thanx me :thankyou:

I say the new C5BB for one mill, but I would buy a P5 and save some money, and when it comes time buy another one.

is the p 5 easy to tune and where can i find it for the cheapest and and who makes the other one you mentioned what about that new os 30 or the 21

If you race sanctioned races you won't be able to run the 30 in your buggy, the OS 21 seems to be hit or miss. Some have bearing problems and some don't.

RB products makes the C5bb and the ws7 3.

Do some searching for the best price, try pdl racing on ebay. They usually have the best prices. The JP 5port is great too.

i dont race sanctioned so i dont have to worry but ill look into the other engines

i have been looking fo rthe engines you said but i can't find where to buy them who makes them and where can i find them

what about the wasp .28 or anything else i want soemthing that i can get parts for locally without having to order offline what about the lrp z.28 7 port good or bad

down here they limit you to a .21 engine...isnt it like that there?

If you want the best bang for buck I would not go with a wasp. If you don't want to spend as much as the mills I showed you, try the novarossi 3 port, its got excellent low end grunt and with a 086 or jp2 pipe will have high end as well.

Best engines for the buck:

.21 only: OS RG Cheapest engine I know of (109.00), ultra reliable, good performance (though not what you would see out of a 300+ dollar engine)

.21+: Sportwerks .26 (130.00, 145.00 w/ pullstart eliminating backplate) Best engine for the money if .21 isn't a rule where you race. Tons of power, will not fall far behind a high priced engine, and does it for less than half the cost. That means you could run one, grenade it, and buy another one, and still have money to buy glow plugs before you ever hit the cost of say a V-Spec Nova, or RB.

i have a sportwerks .26 (2 of them) and granted i like them but i have heard soem good stuff about the lrp z.28 and i was wondering if it is better then the sportwerks alps or track doesn't have any rules about what size motors you run we just startd and thats they way we do it up here I'm not worried about raor or nothing but ill keep the motors that you guys told me about but what motor are you talking about os rg .21 where can i find this motor and would it work good for a buggy and a truggy i will be racing against the new hellfire and jammins new truggy and i dont want to be left behind

i dont know if i would run the rg in a truggy..good chance you will get left in the dust..........for racing I've always stuck with rb or novarossi, collari's are pretty nice also

I just ordered the new rb WS711 x3
I have the WS711...Ill LYK how it compaires..

thanx guys i didnt thing it was this hard to choose a motor but ill put it on hold right now till my buddy gets his motor and see how it runs if he blows me away i will have alot more money to spend on a NICE motor to make shure i dont get left behind

Any one know or seen much about the new .30 by trinity? adam drake edition? and if it would fit in my hyper 7 which I've already got a peak performance .28 in but I've heard that that engine wont last me very long so I'm looking for something that will waste my friends pbs w/.21 in it.
Thanks
