I'm going to get the Fantom fr.12 here someday, they look like sweet motors. Give it a whirl.

Os Rg .21
buy it... I had one and I liked it almost as much as my Novarossi. Awesome engine and I got mine for $85 shipped brand new (great deal, not from a online store or ebay). You can get them for $110 (my old lhs sold them for that much).

another RG fan here.....the fantom is a screamer but they don't last very long.....maybe 5 gallons if you can tune it good...and it's not an easy engine to find the sweet spot on either but when you do holy crap.....I have the .27 and I use it in a truggy...I don't run it that often but it's fun when I do.....I run the RGs in my buggy...I'm on my 4th one in 6 months now......LOL....not because they all died (some did do to my error) but I run fuel like a kid suckin a milkshake

I am assuming you meant the FR21? I am looking at the FR27 Non P/S for bashing and the RBS7II for racing if I do race.

WS7 or S7.

The WS7 is the best.

Sounds like everones saying rg? Well i might just get the rg then a fantom 21 when I'm really good a tuning. There 90 at tower with the 20 news letter.

Collari B3 is supposed to be a beast. Some say its like the OS VZ01b. This is my next engine. Bruce @rushrc has them for around $200

This is for racing or bashing? Bashing I am still leaning on the FR27. Still under 200 bucks.

I'm leaning between the B3 and the FR .21 too...both look great but the Fantom is a lil cheaper.

The Fantom .21 and larger mills have had some problems from what I have heard/read. The .12s are great though. The RG is a good mill, for that price you can get a nice pipe and header combo and STILL stay under $200. The B3's are stump pullers, nice bottom end tq. Depending on the track layout you will be running at I would do a RG with a JP-1 or JP-2.

Dont you have to get a pipe adapter or something on a rg because the hole is different from all the other pipes? The fantom 21 looks sweet for only 160.

Wow, never heard that before. Someone clue me in, I have one of these engines coming friday from Tower, and I don't want it to sit all weekend waiting for extra parts.

Hello, anyone? Please don't tell me the RG needs some special exhaust part like OFNA buggy basher mentioned to make it work. My LHS sucks when it comes to nitro stuff, so I need to know so I can overnight the parts (I really want to drive again this weekend).

I think it does but I'm not sure, PM olds_97 Lss he will know. And where can I get the FR .21 for $160?

Ill remember seing 159 but i can't find it now. Try a google search and you will find it. Ill try looking more in a couple min. Pretty sure the rg has a special exaust adapter to fit the pipes.
