Go with the rustler...much better from what I hear. Although I personally suggest the HPI Nitro MT2 .18SS. One of the most durable STs out there, also one of the fastest. The rustler may have a higher top speed, but the MT2 .18SS is no slow truck.

check your track and make sure they allow the 4wd trucks to run in the stadium truck class if you plan on racing your Stadium Truck.

noone has popped in the jato?? i own a nitro sport and my buddy has a rustler.. very simular truck.. the nitro sport is the older version (with smaller motor) and the rustler is newer.. you get more with the rustler.. ball bearings bigger motor more aluminum ect.. but nitro sport is cheeper, more for beginer..

really depends on you are you just running in your backyard once in a while ...I've had two nitro sports very fun little trucks, rustler is pretty much the same but with a little higher horsepower engine & better bellcrank steering both can be added later if you wanted to
in short the rustler is the better / faster truck ....but if saving the $70 makes it more do able for you the nitro sport will be a blast for you as well

I think it depends on what you're going to do. If you're a straight up basher, I'd look at the NRS4 MT or the Jato. If you're planning on racing, look at the Associated RC10GT RTR or the Losi XXX-NT RTR.
