Jon, I see your point also, It is true to use the products full potental you could tweek the computer with a hypertech chip and see even larger gains from the tube. And there are alot of aftermarket MassAir sensors if its too restrictive.

This is the boat I am in with my new Spec V. REsearch is a must. Just like with our RC's if you can bolt it on doesn't mean you gain poop from it. I am already looking @ the $3500 turbo kit for my car!!!! HooHa!

I thought the 94's came with the 1.8 or the SR20DET 2.0? Dunno really as I am new to Nissan's but that sounds like a fast 1.6! Mine is the 2.5 4 banger so it really has some juice! With turbo and a head shave I can see 400bhp in this bad dog. I would probably upgrade the cams and coat the pistons at that point. Turbo first as I could easily run 7-8lbs of boost on the pocket rocket without changing anything else.

94' was 1.6L SE and 2.0 SER and 4door automatics.I did have porting on the head and the intake itself,fuel pressure regulator, cam gears,pullys,header with 2.5 inch exhaust straight back to one of those fartcan mufflers yall dont like at the rar bumper(no emisions here no cat. conv.) This was a few years ago BEFORE the "Fast&theFurious" pep boys, autozone tuner poop that kinda killed it for the actuall sport compact guys. The car had some other stuff too, I ran it on an 1/8 mile track and ran 9.50@80 best I remember consistantly.

I am still kinda in it but I was there when it was starting up in the late 80's to early 90's. I have been reading up on them and they are quite impressive. Still have love for the muscle cars as well but I think for econimical purposes I will stick to my 4 banger soon to be a sleeper. I may sell it though so I can pick up another integra 4 door as I already know what I need to do for that one. I can always help out what I k now and give suggestions to what I think you could do. Regardless, its another hobby that cost money....MORE MONEY.Lol Damn Cars and RC Nitro cars gotta love em.

I hated what people got out of the movie as when I used to go to the races, legal or illegal and it was a nice group that wanted to show off and that was it. Now you have idiots that just put intake and exhaust that have the God Complex. People like that give a bad rep to people that are passionate about thier cars.

I myself like to baby my engine not always wanting to gun it every chance I get. Too many wanna be's. I have cops profiling me just cause I am Asian and drive an import,typical civic hatchback.

I bought the car off a guy i work with. He was going to trade the car in towards a new car to a local Ford dealership but they were only going to give him $100 for that car towards a new car. so i told him i would buy it off him, and he told me $100. the car is in great shape, hardly no rust, the chassis was in great shape, new radiator, battery, spark plugs, etc. all i had to do was get a new muffler and rear swaybar endlinks, ended up costing me like $300, and really i didnt need that stuff to get the car on the road.

no its not a typo, i paid $100.00 cash for it. read my response to humbolt. and as far as another engine. i have 104,500 miles on the engine right now and I'm tryin to milk it till i get enough money saved up for a Mazda V6, if u guys didnt know the Ford Probe and the Mazdas are similar i guess, or interchangable, like the engine and tranny and crap.


Also I was recomened the MONZA Catback exhaust. Whoever said somethin about people having loud aftermarket exhaust's ur right. some sound like they are running with no exhaust, and the cops love that. But some actually dont sound too bad they got the nice throaty sound that isnt overkill.

Monza exhaust.... Heard of them but I also heard their "Mandrel Bends" are really poorly done. JUst cause it sounds cool doesn't mean it is cool to have as the local authorities can cite you a nuiscance for sound. I know in my area that anyhing that can be heard by your car at 25 feet away is citeable. I believe if its going to be super loud it belongs on a track.

but also they have silencers, so u can change the sound. but really if the cops want to write me a ticket for being too noisy, instead of busting the guy selling pot on the next street. o well. i also have neons and leds that i run in my car at night when I'm drivin,but they are suppose to be "off-road" use only but i have had cops drive by me, they dont car unless u get a real A------ that wants to give u a hard time then he gives u a warning and after that its a small fine.

That's funny I was just reading about the magic 3. Where you ground the pos battery terminal to the + on the alt, the Block to the frame and your block to your negative terminal on your batt? Supposedly you gain hp? Wierd....

I am with you Jon about looking stock or just clean. No added crazyness for me. On the other hand I need spank, I drive like a lead foot and not because of Fast and Furious. I am a car enthusiast so I understand your complaint about all the crap as of recent. That is funny "god complex because they put on an exhaust and intake" LMAO!!! SO TRUE. Well I know your car has some spank in it so to add some power bolt ons will do you good. Best thing to do is rid your self of the ECU when you are ready to rid the governor but more so stregthen your internals if you are serious about boost.

i have brand new plugs and wires. but what does a ground wiring kit do? i have seen them around, and the only thing i can think of is that it grounds the car(as far as electricity goes).
