The batch I got were bad.
The hex heads were an off size and didn't fit an american nor a metric allen. I own good tools and managed to strip several during installation.

I contacted the company and did get a call back but no follow through.

I can say one good thing. I needed a small ny-lock nut the other day and it just so happened there were a few in the kit. So I guess not all was lost.

PS If anyone wants a sample let me know. Ill consider the $25.00 I paid as advertising costs to help spread the word.

I got this kit and started installing it and got like three screwz in and stripped the head and that was all she wrote. I use them in a pinch now but that's about all. They are an alright back up screw incase I am out but would rather use the stockers.

Can you guys recommend any set of good screws? I have a used maxx coming which is going to need quite a few screws so I am looking for a decent screw set and I can not check rcscrewz.com off the list :)

I see some on ebay but none really have any brand name to them.

The most impressive screw kit I've bought was from Hobbycamp.us
I had bought a kit from them off Ebay for my XXXNT. There kit had every screw on the truck & extras, body clips, E-clips, washers, nuts...etc

I've been using the FullForce R/C screw kits for awhile now, and have no complaints...
Having a really good set of drivers (OFNA, LOSI, Dynamite) will definately make a big difference...

Well I just got a set of RC Screwz for my Savage SS and after reading the experiences of others here and on other forums, I have decided to not use them.

Since I don't want to use the phillips screws supplied with the SS kit, I have picked up a set from Hexheads to use instead

I will post my findings of them when they come in.

ouch $48 bucks for a set for the maxx, let us know how they turn out. If they are good I guess you end up saving in the long run anyway.

I like rcscrewz, Seems that they are pretty durable for the maxx and other trucks and cars.

Here I go again spouting off about how good contractor hardware suppliers are...

I bought one bag each (100 screws) of 3x8, 3x10 and 3x12 from Tacoma Screw. Cost me a little over twenty bucks but I'll never need extra screws of those sizes for anything.

I gotta go back and pick up some cap screws.

I think they are only good for back up screws. I got a set and the heads always strip even if i am using the right size allen head.......Nick

i bought a set from them last summer for my 9.5 .ya the head sizes are a little of and the kit was poorly matched with proper count .my kit was short 4 top shock mounting screwz ,so i emailed them and the owener called me dirct and offered to send me a full replacement kit for my 9.5 after i told him that i read some bad press on the web .so now i have screws coming out my huha ,but if i would have known this before hand id of shopped else were .basiclly its a guy that found a cheap overseas manufacturer and started markiting them to the rc community,if he bought made in the u.s.a would we be having this conversation .imho
