I just watched a program from Japan last night about drift racing.
Pretty amazing.
I'm currently building an RS4 Pro2, and I have foam and racing tires. Drifting tires are in the mail. It should be a blast.

Drifting is super fun! Setup some obsticals to go around in a parking lot and go crazy! I used to spend hours drifting in a local lot, its awesome once you get the throttle control down.

well i got a lotus 2 eleven its in the mail and i also wanted to know what kinda tires do you have to have for drifting cause i am pretty sure i will blow through the stock pretty quick?

When I was in Japan the local hobby shop had a huge indoor drift track and there were meets to run every weekend. It looks like it can be fun. I have seen done up with lights ect that look super scale and I kinda dig that.

I like to watch it and stand there in amazement doing so every year at RCX , but have no interest in trying it myself.

I am with you on that Rob...I like to watch it but I don't think I would buy one for myself. I am too much an off road guy I guess.

I like to try all rc types.

yeah i just wanna get into it and where i live the nearest indoor track is 60 miles away so i will prolly be doing it in my court. And i just like the look of drifting cars more then outdoor but that is just me. I have seen people put like a ford mustangs body on a off road car.

check out , black smoke racing, you wont guess what he uses. if you want to see real drifting check out speedway motorcycles.
