its frikin titanium.. i dont think a tweak like that bent back into shape (if you can bent it back) would weaken it enough to notice.. if you do break it you WILL know it its gonna take a HARD hit to break those.. the plastic will give befor the titanium

just so you know I the XB8 turnbuckles are made from tool steel....that's some serious steel dude....I'm more worried about loosing one than breaking it....

i heard a coupe times that the turnbuckles were week so i thought that for 99 cents that this would be a good deal

I've broken 2 xray turnbuckles, its only the front uppers that let go. the reason isnt the material, its that they are threaded too far into the plastic and the assembly doesn't have enough give to absorb impacts. there are 2 solutions to this.

1: run the "long arm" set up, guys running this setup havent had any problems with turnbuckles breaking because there is less turnbuckle to plastic engagement providing the flex needed to absorb large impacts.

2: grind about 5mm of length off of each side of the turnbuckle when running the "short arm" setup. this again will reduce the amount of turnbuckle to plastic engagement and provide the needed flex.

They look like the ends were not screwed in right. They may be just at an angle.. Camera can do wonders some time.

It looks bent but who cares for $4.00 dollars and a couple days its worth it cuz those are more like a 30.00 part isnt it???

so i think i would but them and it wouldnt matter if it was bent like that i would leave it and just adjust with the threads to make it come out right

and if it did cause that much problems i would just bend it back its not that bad of a bend
