what do you guys think of this upgrade for my savage 21

i decided to upgrade my savage 21 motor to a ofna bb 25. i bought this motor brand new off ebay for$130 versus over $200 for any other 21 motor. I also bought a chrome dual exhaust manifold for the 25 and a chrome k&n cold air intake air filter. once i get my motor in all i have to do is take the flywheel and clutch assembly off of my 21 bb and put it on the 25. this upgrade should well turn the monster wide tires I've been running on the savage. i was just wondering what you guys thought of this upgrade and what other upgrades you had in mind for me.

I would dump the dual exhaust, unless its a dual chamber pipe, and I havent heard anything good about the K&N filters except that they are good for show ONLY.

The mill is a nice mill. Keep us posted on how it performs!

I concur with Christian. Dual exhausts are engine performance killers and eye candy, nothing more. You'll be better off with a good manifold and quality tuned pipe.

The mill you have chosen is one of the largest that you can drop in the Savage without major modifications.

Without opening the can of worms that the whole K&N filter resembles, get your hands on another filter. K&N filters are not designed nor endorsed by K&N as suitable for RC engines.

I have to agree with both Christian and Skymaxx, dump the dual exhaust and K&N filter. For all the reasons stated by both of them. Congrats on the new engine though. Keep us informed as to how it works out.
