No, you don't need the signal wire. The signal wire is just for sending a PWM frequency to control movement of say a servo or whatever. If that were even possible for LED's to utilize a signal wire, it would be to control brightness for example.

Yes, you can. If your radio has a channel 3 on it, it should just be a toggle switch. This switch will simply turn the power on and off to channel 3.

If you were using that Rx in a nitro, that is where you would plug the battery in to power the servos, as nitro's don't use an ESC.

That stands for Voltage Common Collector or something like that.

word..ok. so i can use that for this light attached to the car and just be on with the car. the other light attach to the roof.. i will be plugging them to channel 3 with a splitter to both of them and a disconnect in between for removal. with LOTS of room so i dont have to unplug it everytime i take the shell off to cover something.

now then.. i need suggestions for small-ish 2s lipo batteries.. that would more or less fit.. the only one i have is for the gorgon and its WAY too big. any brands you guys trust? hows aliexpress for that stuff?

That's where I've bought every one of my drone batteries. Never had an issue. What are you referring to?

I'm sure this was a fluke. My one and only time ordering there.
I searched all over hells creation looking for a battery that doesn't exist yet apparently.
I ordered 2 3s 100c 2200(?) Mah batteries based on the measurements given on rdq website.
The batteries were over an inch longer than advertised. Not even close.
I attempted to contact someone on FB thru mrs certifieds account because I dont do fb.
I was belittled because whst I was looking for was unrealistic and I should have known better even though the website measurements were clearly stated.
I'm sure it was a fluke but it was a bad experience for me and mrs certified.

Since that says max charging amp of 2A, and it doesn't give a C rating, I would say no. That battery is intended for use in a Radiomaster radio, which won't draw many amps at all, meaning that battery likely can't deliver many amps (C rating). Find a battery with like 30C or better for your little guy.

so we finally landed on a color for the wheels. and i couldnt be happier.
Montana.Cans "fire red".. but it came out this hot pink color that is really setting this little toy off:...

also my shocks came in..

i know the paint is chipped already, but these are just place holders until the real ones get here.. speaking of... i also have a proper motor coming with heatsink and fan, and new differentials.. i've done measurments on mine and i found the ones for an ARRMA granite are very similar.
finding parts for these cheapo chinese cars has been a challenge for sure. but i dont know.. i kinda like it... lol. anyway.. more to come when the mail gets here
